Mr. Klaich’s well-seasoned background in packaging is a result of his tenure with the American Can Company, who was a premiere worldwide manufacturer of consumer packaging. Mr. Klaich is highly experienced in the development and implementation of domestic and international strategic marketing plans, supporting commercialization of new technology such as Heritage Bag Companies BioTuf™ compostable bag/liner technology as board member and Vice President of the International Biodegradable Polymer Institute. Mr. Klaich’s extensive worldwide pull-through marketing experience within the global biodegradable polymer market arena and in-depth experience and knowledge within the environmental legislative initiatives are known both domestically and internationally for his work/efforts in this area.
Mr. Klaich’s efforts/expertise resulted in International Environmental Management (A division of Oakleaf Waste Managment) being awarded three (3) state recycling awards, and was tapped for CNBC “Inside Business”. (WRAP Award. California, PA Waste Watcher Award, Pennsylvania, and Virginia Recycling Award, Virginia.) Oakleaf Waste Management was ultimately purchased by Waste Management.
Currently, Peter has been appointed National Sales Director/Research & Agriculture, Shapiro Enterprises LLC, managing large commercial and industrial waste streams across the US Agriculture and Animal Health with our patented/Proprietary Ultra-Pure CLO2 technology.
